Beschrijving

Eetcafe aan de Vlasmarkt Middelburg, in het pand waar nu Kaffe 't Hof zit. Een opvolger van Het Hof van Zeeland en later opgevolgd door De Lachende Vis. De stamtafel en de kachel in deze kroeg zijn nu nog in de zaak aanwezig. Er waren regelmatig live-optredens, er werd veel geschaakt (en ander bordspelen gedaan) en de klantenkring was groot en trouw.

Wijlen Jacob Dert was fotograaf en maakte voor de eigenaren twee boeken met 'fotoverslagen'. Hayo van Kaffee 't Hof bewaarde die albums, waarvoor dank.
